I'm a housewife in my early 40s, raising two daughters in middle school and elementary school. My husband and I both work in a rural industrial area, so there aren't many hospitals here. While there are plenty of hospitals open during regular hours, there aren't many that offer emergency care at night. I was particularly unsure of which hospitals would provide pediatric care. Last year, a pediatric clinic opened at a general hospital near my apartment. Shortly after, I started offering evening pediatric care. Last year, there was an outbreak of the coronavirus at my youngest children's school and after-school academy. Both influenza A and B were also prevalent. It was scary when my children came home from school or after-school with a sudden fever, body aches, and cough. It was so nice to be able to see a pediatrician just a five-minute drive away. The doctor was kind and caring. I guess some children respond well to hospital treatment and others don't. Fortunately, my children's treatment progressed well after they left the hospital, so they continued to visit.
